NEW Water held a Capital Charge Study Workshop on August 2, 2022. 

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay and NEW Water partnership continues to help area youth protect our waters

From inspecting microorganisms under a microscope to building filters to represent the earth, area youth participated in a STEAM Superheroes Camp and have earned their “Defenders of the Bay” certificate.

June 2022 - Treatment Plant Operator (TPO) Magazine featured NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, for a collaborative approach to help protect our most valuable resource, water with Adaptive Management.  

May 2022 - The Press Times featured NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, for planning for the future with a Facility Plan, so the community can continue to flush the toilet, wash the dishes, and run their businesses whenever they want. 

Ben Young, NEW Water’s Watershed Specialist, has received second place for his drone photograph in the Dutchman Creek watershed, image above, in the 2022 Green Bay Conservation Partners Multi-Media Contest.
