Public Hearing

NEW Water has prepared a Facility Plan to plan for the future, to allow continued reliability of wastewater services to protect public health, accommodate residential growth, and economic development, uninterrupted. The Facility Plan is a comprehensive look at process needs. The Plan addresses condition, performance and capacity gaps, develops infrastructure improvement packages, and evaluates project prioritization and cost impacts.

This Facility Plan presents an evaluation of and recommendations for the Green Bay and De Pere wastewater treatment facilities. Specific recommendations are provided for the next 20 years along with a 50-year vision to provide long-term context for the recommended improvements. The focus for the Facility Plan was on the liquid processes at both plants.
