2026 Budget
For 2026, the NEW Water Commission has adopted a $57.6 million budget to ensure regulatory compliance and service reliability. We estimate that a typical family will pay about $28 per month* for NEW Water services (*not including costs charged to them by their municipality) to enable their family to do the dishes, do laundry, and flush the toilet around the clock. Thank you, President Hasselblad!
Our Team gives a heartfelt thank you to our Commission President, Kathryn Hasselblad, who is retiring from the NEW Water Commission. President Hasselblad led our Commission with wisdom and grace, and our community has benefitted greatly. Thank you for your service, and for all of your efforts to protect Wisconsin waters, President Hasselblad!

Inflow & Infiltration Workshop
In December, NEW Water hosted area municipalities to share best practices on reducing inflow and infiltration into our shared sanitary sewer system.

NEW Water's Green Infrastructure Initiatives
Green infrastructure initiatives include permeable pavement, tree planting, and prairie restoration. In October, a group toured to see it in action.
Salt Wisely
'Tis the season! Wisconsin winters come with a lot of snow and ice. Salt wisely in order to lower the impacts of salt on your community and the environment. How much salt is too much? #LoveYourWatershed.
