GBMSD accepted bids for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabiliation Work until May 1, 2012.
BID AWARDED TO: MICHELS PIPE SERVICES
The project includes lining of the sewer, repair of faulty connections and manhole rehabilitation. The work is required to repair deteriorated sewers in order to continue to provide reliable service.
Work is underway and scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.
The sewers being repaired are generally located on private easements and public right-of-ways along the Fox River Trail, Front Street, and Fox River Drive between the Fox Point Boat Launch and Heritage Road and on Charles Street between Broadway Street and Webster Avenue (See map for exact locations).
It is planned that traffic will be maintained during the planned work. Some temporary lane closures and traffic rerouting may be necessary during the planned work.
